So in Dead Space 3, if you want to closely examine the reload animations of your weapons, you can go into the Weapon Crafting Arena and make a Detonator with a Detonator lower tool as well, then you add the Stasis coating to it, then place in as much +3 Damage +3 Clip as possible.
Fist, make sure that it's a clean room, any corpse tripping the mines before you do will ruin the entire thing!
Then place 3 mines on the locked door using the upper Detonator like this:
Do note that the lasers should NOT reach Isaac's helmet to compensate for his slouch while walking.
Afterwards, walk to the other side of the room (where the Necromorphs come in from) and place 3 more trip mines on the door frame using the lower Detonator:
Again, the lasers should not exceed Isaac's helmet.
The lasers should cross eachother like this:
The intersection is where we will be walking into when we are ready to examine a gun's reload. I will be using a weapon with a quite fast reload, the Sub-machinegun
Shoot the weapon so you lose a few shots and can reload and walk into the area where the beams cross, DO NOT sprint, crouch or roll into the beams, they will explode unevenly and can cover up the reload animation!
After the beams explode, quickly set the camera to a good angle (don't take too long or the Stasis will wear off) and reload the weapon
With a bit of practice(or if you aren't rushing to take a screenshot), this will be extremely easy and can be very useful
If you have a bit of extra percision or patience, you can make the beams cross in front of the window for extra lighting
You may need to add a few +Reload circuits if the reload animation is too long for the Stasis duration, however this does sacrifice some accuracy if you do not have a very keen eye
