The Art of Dead Space is the art book for the Dead Space franchise, written by Martin Robinson and released on February 5, 2013. It showcases art related to all Dead Space games released by 2013 alongside comments and explanations from the developers.

The Art of Dead Space is the ultimate gallery of the Dead Space universe with over 300 images including sketches and concept art by acclaimed artists from breathtaking spacescapes to terrifying Necromorphs, character designs to creating a religion, plus commentary from the artists themselves. Included art from Dead Space, Dead Space: Extraction, Dead Space: Ignition and Dead Space 2.[1][note 1]

Special Edition[]

This exclusive edition contained an additional 32-page gallery of exclusive and previously unpublished art from across the game series including images from Christopher Shy's Dead Space graphic novels, plus a gallery forward from Dead Space 3 Creative Director, Ben Wanat, all encased in a soft-touch clamshell box featuring Isaac and Carver art from Dead Space 3 and limited to a printing of 1,000 copies.[2]
