The Bolas Gun is a weapon that appears in Dead Space 3. The weapon must be built at a Bench after finding the blueprint.
Overview[]
A dual bolas gun that fires bouncing bolas and anchored bolas that stick to surfaces and spin for a few seconds. The bouncing bolas are capable of cutting off both arms/legs at the same time if timed/aimed correctly. Since the bolas bounce once, even if you miss it still has a chance of bouncing off the wall and hitting a necromorph. The anchored bolas is very useful for crowd control, you can lay a few anchored bolas down to cover a certain angle and focus on taking out necromorphs charging at you from the uncovered angle.

Upper Tool[]
The upper tool of a Bolas Gun consists of a Tesla Core with a Compressor Tip (Bouncing Bolas). This produces a bouncing electrified bola.
Lower Tool[]
The lower tool of a Bolas Gun consists of a Tesla Core with a Directed Suspension Field Tip (Anchored Bolas). This produces an electrified bola that sticks to surfaces.

- This weapon can't be built or used in Classic mode.
