Following on from the 'Dead Space 2 idea' article posted on the forum. i started thinking, i know a dangerous thing to do, when will Dead Space 2 be released? and will Issac still have a vital role to play? as the main protagonist again or more of a cameo style appearance? Will the Ishimura or lexine, from dead space extraction, have a part to play? What do you guys think?DeadSpaceFella 17:25, October 1, 2009 (UTC)
Ithink that as Glen Schofield made it clear that Isaac is going to be an idol for the seires, I would expect him to return, and seeing as you spent so long trying to save Lexine, Nathan and Weller's hides in Extraction, I think they might make an appearance. As for the release date, Viseral is currently working on the finishing touches for Dante's Inferno, due out late this year, or early 2010, can't remember right away, but it would be safe to assume that Viseral has DS 2 underway already, and are just waiting to give us a spoiler of some sort. Who knows? It may come out round christmas? Or with the movie? We just have to wait.User:Tazio1
Okay everyone, I just got off the horn from ign, and it is confimed, more or less, that DS 2 will be released in late 2010, most likley Haloween or the Day of the Dead. And, the game will most likley , after looking at Visceral Game's wanted board, are looking for multiplayer map artist's, so the game will have MULTIPLAYER!

And the best thing about a Dead Space multiplayer? You can see how your team mates are doing, eg their health and ammo thanks to the inovative hologram screens!
