Pendleton was a member of the USG Ishimura security team led by Alissa Vincent. He was killed during the first battle after being overpowered by a large group of Slashers. While firing his weapon, one of the attacking Necromorphs sliced his left hand off, followed by another Necromorph ripping his jaw off. Once he was on the ground, frantically screaming in pain, they tore him apart. They moved on to the others.
