Sorry for the unsigned comment, but I figure someone would appreciate the information.
The Core Extractor is acquired in Chapter 9 and is the heaviest weapon in Dead Space iOS. It is a heavy duty tool designed for extracting core samples, described as being able to penetrate 65% of all known heavy materials. The primary fire mode fires four plasma beams in a diamond confirgutation (four beams at 45 degreee angles to each other, forming a diamond with gaps at the tips). The alternate firing mode compresses all four beams together.
I'm afraid I can provide little further detailed information right now, but this is taken directly from the game itself. —This unsigned comment was made by 124.168.222.219 (talk • contribs). Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
- Thanks for the info, I don't have access to Dead Space mobile but I wanted to make sure it was added to the wiki, if anybody else has anymore info please add to what I've put up. Emonegarand 03:17, February 2, 2011 (UTC)
- Apologies, I wrote my last post while half-asleep, and I didn't word it as well as I could have. The Alt Fire compresses the four beams into a continuous stream, similar to the Alt Fire of the Force Gun in Dead Space 2 but it keeps going for several seconds, doing massive damage, especially when upgraded. The weapon overall is somewhat slow and awkward though, most likely due to its size and weight. It does look like it'd weigh at least as much as Vandal herself. Iudicium 00:12, February 3, 2011 (UTC)
- Is it specifically referred to as the V101? Auguststorm1945 16:22, February 9, 2011 (UTC)
