The USM Victory is a large Earth Defense Force warship that was assigned to the government blockade of the Aegis System Shockpoint.[1]
Right after the events of Dead Space, the ship was visited by David Chang and the Oracles in a mission to recover the Red Marker or any remains of it. When Julia Copland bretrayed the magpies, she went to the USM Victory to negociate a reward with them, by revealing the location of the USG Ishimura and giving them a Marker shard.
At the end of Salvage, the crew discovered the exact location of the USG Ishimura, with Stefan Schneider challenging them to take on. The graphic novel ends with a cliffhanger about the fate of the USM Victory as it is quite possible that the ship approached the Ishimura and was overrun by the Necromorphs, let alone having a dangerous Marker shard onboard. However, it's not shown what David Chang decides to do, and the ship is not seen or even mentioned in the sequels.
