Dead Space Wiki

In a few ways, this Wiki is shaping up to be the best one I've ever seen. Places like Halopedian, the Vault, etc., they all suffer from the problems inherited by their respective franchises. Halo, Fallout, F.E.A.R, more mainstream games, they all have the one thing that Dead Space lacks - stupid people willing to play it.

Keep in mind, I'm not trying to offend. I find the affformentioned games to be great fun, and I myself often find a need to lower myself a bit. Hang loose, stop thinking. I guess that the proverb of "Ignorance is Bliss" holds true.

What I'm trying to say here is, that this Wiki is awesome. The people on it are smart, the people who play the games are smart, and the people who make the games are smart.

But this Wiki, like the others, still has one problem: There is quite little to do now.

In a way, it was kind of good when Dead Space was just a few rumors. I wasn't exactly around then, but I started to chip in a bit when I finally got an account. There were tiny little annoying things to fix, and it made me feel good to fix them. The occasional vandal, a few coding errors, just little things that need fixing. I enjoyed fixing them because I knew I was helping, and to me, helping a Wiki get on its feet is a great thing to do.

But now, all I can really do around here is read and post blogs. I'm no researcher, I'm an Editor. I just fine-tune stuff. Whether or not that stuff is good stuff isn't mine to decide. But now everything is right with the Wiki (unless you count the constant changing of the picture on the Isaac Clarke article - which I'm totally suportive of right now by the way - which is becoming like a war in a country that nobody knows the name of), I can't really fine-tune anymore.

So, I want to make sure everybody has something to do. I have no idea how I will achieve this goal, when I will achieve it, or even if I will remember after pounding my liqour cabinet (it's starting to take affect now, I can't even remember how to spell liqeur) into submission. So, first thing's first, let's start with a good brain-storm (which, unless it will help, is curently a metaphor. But you never know!)
