A few minutes after this log is found, the USG Ishimura’s automated transmission for launching the escape pods can be heard along with a faint male scream. It's up to interpretation if the crewmembers featured on this log managed to board any of the pods in time. It's also possible that the scream was a hallucination, since Nathan McNeill was hearing the Marker whispers at the time.
